Finally! The first tooth has emerged!
It is a tiny, pearly, crooked little wonder.
There were so many times during the last year where Elina would go through explainable bouts of fussiness. We always said, "This must be it! It's finally going to pop out!" It didn't happen.
About a week ago she had a few days where she was sleeping a ton during the day, and screaming the whole time she was awake. Elina has turned out to be a pretty intense teether.
It paid off though. She uses that tooth like a little pick ax. No apple is safe around her now.
Mikey has had a nice three day block off from work. We have gotten to spend some time just enjoying the yard and wasting time together.
Fundraiser Update:
As I was writing this, we got another donation! I am excited to say we have met our $200 goal!
I was nervous about even participating in the fundraiser because it seemed last minute. I am so overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. Elina is one lucky girl. So am I.
If you were planning on making a donation, we would still be so excited to accept it. All of the money goes to the National Down Syndrome Society.

Even throwing a fit, she is such a cutie!! Sorry teething has been such a bear but glad she now has a tooth!
