Mikey and I are young, and we are learning about life and parenthood in a uniquely challenging way. It is impossible to say why we were entrusted with such a precious girl- but we are thankful everyday for the richness Elina has brought into our lives.
Elina has Down Syndrome. At times it can be a hard fact to swallow. However, I know that if I had the chance, I wouldn't change who she is.
We believe that Elina brings a little more light into this hard, confusing world.
I write to share that light.
